When only the best will do.
Advanced Medical Center LLC, was established in 1988 with your convenience in mind. In addition to a traditional family practice, we have extended hours for minor emergencies such as lacerations, burns, fracture care and the sudden onset of minor illnesses.

DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE

Although some companies are required by the Department of Transportation to have a drug-free workplace policy for workers in safety sensitive positions, an increasing number of all employers are choosing to drug test their employees. Such a program can result in a 5% premium reduction for workers compensation coverage. In addition, the employer will see a lower incidence of employee absenteeism or work related illnesses and injuries.

We recommend that you contact your workers compensation insurance carrier for an application for a drug-free workplace premium credit, and call us to help you in establishing a drug free work place.

WHAT IS A MEDICAL REVIEW OFFICER?

The medical review officer is a licensed physician specifically trained to interpret drug test results. The MRO is charged with the responsibility of interpreting results while protecting the confidential nature of an individual’s medical information.

An essential part of the federally mandated drug testing program is the final review of the test results. A positive laboratory test result does not necessarily indicate an individual is an illegal drug user. It is essential, therefore, that a MRO review the results for the possible alternative medical explanation.

The private sector of employers is not required to utilize the services of a Medical Review Officer. However, many are choosing to do so. Having the results reviewed by a MRO can help reduce the employer’s liability as it relates to hiring, firing, and drug screening. It also benefits the employer and good employees from suffering the consequences of erroneous results.

Advanced Medical Center Advantage:

• On-site Medical Review Officer certified by American    Association of Medical Review Officers
• Experienced staff
• Expert testimony in court cases
• Prompt results
• Extended hours - open 7 days a week.

ADVANCED INSTANT TESTING

On-site urine-based drug testing for fast accurate results you can count on. Results are within minutes, not hours, saving your company valuable time. This testing is highly accurate in detecting a variety of drugs of abuse, making them cost-effective and convenient. Instant testing provides a level of accuracy similar to the initial screen used by certified laboratories.

Available Testing for amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolites, methamphetamines, methadone, opiates, and marijuana is available.

Confirmation of any “in-house” result is available; the sample is simply sealed and sent to an outside laboratory.

Donor Adulteration Testing is performed on all instant drug screens. Our testing detects substances that may be added to the urine or used by the donor in an attempt to alter the results.

ALCOHOL TESTING

Alcohol testing is available in three forms. Testing can be done instantly with oral swabbing. Within minutes the results are available.

Our office also offers blood drawing for testing blood alcohol level: these results are available within 24 hours of collection. We also have the ability to order and refer for breath alcohol testing to a nearby lab to allow employer compliance with DOT regulations.
