Family Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Anderson was born and raised in the Chicago, Illinois area. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a charge nurse in the spinal cord ICU, the Medical Intensive Care Unit, and the Emergency Department – all at Northwestern. She then went on to work at the Memorial Hospital in Chicago where she was a charge nurse, preceptor, and researcher.

In 2004, Nurse Anderson graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with Masters of Science. (Her Masters Degree research project was titled The effects of black cohosh, ginseng, and dong quai on vasomotor symptoms in menopause.) She went on to work at Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she was responsible for running the Fast Track, Level I, Trauma Center.
In addition, Nurse Anderson has worked as researcher collecting data, and co¬wrote the article Factors effecting pain sores during female urethral catheterization which was published in Academic Emergency Medicine in 2004.

Jill moved to Naples and joined the Advanced Medical Center family in 2006. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurse's Credentialing Center.
