Nurse Practitioner Melissa Levens was born in Trumbull, CT. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology in Philadelphia, PA, and the attended nursing school in Bridgeport, CT. Melissa worked at St. Vincent’s Medical Center as a registered nurse for six months before deciding to start graduate school with a focus in the family nurse practitioner track. Throughout graduate school, Melissa worked as a travel nurse in Brandon, FL and Stamford, CT., and during her final year in graduate school, she stayed at Stamford hospital where she continued to work as a registered nurse. In 2007, Melissa attained her Master’s degree in Nursing from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. She then relocated to sunny Naples, Florida and started her career with Advanced Medical Center. Melissa is board- certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
